Monday - I just got home and look what I found in my back yard! Yippee! Dave volunteered to be Phil's apprentice for the day. Phil worked all day in the rain today... Ugh! Dave got here late afternoon and he and Phil are working hard to get the shed finished. They are almost done!

Field Day at Vista Grande May 22, 2007

This is Brandon's final year for Field Day!

Water Race The object of this game was to run with the cup full of water (which had holes in it) to the opposite end of the court and dump water in the bucket, run back to your line and give to the next person, repeat and try to fill up the water bucket - the team with the most water in their bucket wins.

Accuracy Throw The object was to throw the ball as far as you possibly could out to the guy in the field... yup... Brandon does have a pretty good arm! That's his mom talking.

We ran into Tyler

Wading for Marbles The object of this game was to pick up marbles with your toes and put them into the frisbees floating in the pool. The person with the most marbles wins.

Tug O War

Water Balloon Race The object of the game is to run to the chair, grab a water balloon out of the bucket, placeon chair, sit on it to pop it and run back to your line and tag the next person to go. If you look closely at Brandon's picture, there is a light pink water ballon that he went to sit on and it popped out from underneath him (behind) and burst on the asphalt. LOL! This was the last game they played before we got rained out.

Karla and Lance Dave and Terri I couldn't even begin to tell you some of the things we talked about! Let's just say it was very interesting, we laughed a lot and we had a GREAT time! Woohoo! Beer and cookies - it's most definitely a vacation!
