The Last Month
Well... not a lot has happened in the last month or maybe it's just that I haven't been taking quite as many pictures for whatever reason. In the month of March we finished out Brandon's basketball teams season. They actually made it three (out of four) games into the the finals which was just absolutely exciting! So the first part of the month was spent with practices and games. I do not have any pictures (shame on me!). Shortly after that was done we had a few dogs come stay with us for awhile. Kelly came first and hung out with us for about a week and a half. 
Kelly and I went on lots of walks and hung out together while watching TV.
Then as Kelly was on her way home then good 'ol Daisy and Bruno came! 
Bruno was very excited to see Brandon... after all it's been almost two years since they last came to visit us. 
Daisy is still lazy and sweet as could be and Bruno is still a cute little puppy... OK he's no longer little.
If we had too much excitement then it was only a matter of time before naps were soon to follow.
So during the time that they were here Brandon started baseball season. It's just practice for right now although the weather hasn't been all that cooperative. He started out with the idea that he didn't really want to play but as soon as we went for tryouts then he got all excited about it and is ready for the season to begin. He has only had two practices so far and both days were very cold and windy - I sat in the car and so at this point there are no pictures (yet).
Here he is eating hot Cheetos while watching TV.
If you haven't noticed, Hot Cheetos are a staple in this kids diet.
Meanwhile Kayla tried out for soccer a couple of weeks ago and made the team but only to decide that she just doesn't have the heart for it anymore... volleyball is her thing. So twice a week she goes up to Westy High and plays just for fun with high school students. One day she decided to bring her baby kitty over from her Dad's just to see if she would get along with Tucker but things just didn't work out the way she had hoped.
Jinxy didn't like Tucker and vice verse.
As for me, I've just been laying around with the cats by the heater to stay warm... ha ha 
Alright so I've been doing a bit more than that. Work of course and kids stuff when they are around and then Dave and I hang out too. The weather is starting to warm up a bit and so I am getting anxious to get my flower garden started and I've also got some tomatoes started and squash too. I will go get jalapeno and pepper plants soon.
We did dye Easter eggs the other day. 
The colors came out nice and bright and we wrote things on them with the white crayon. Kayla in her rush to get her first egg dyed so she could eat it, forgot how to spell her own name... silly girl! Nevertheless she ate the egg immediately so we had no proof. Actually she wasn't cooperating with any of the pictures so all you will see is her backside.
So now here the kids are at the start of their Spring Break and lazy mode has kicked in... 
Brandon and I went on a really long walk around Lake Arbor yesterday and when we got home he read his book for about an hour and then passed out on the couch with Tucker snuggled right on top of him. Pretty cute huh?
And on another note - Leo got shaved this morning!!! You have no idea how great that is... no more hair... no more hairballs! 
One last thing (can't forget Inca) She got a new bed and she is completely enjoying it! This is her giving Dave a love bite to say thank you. 
Well that's all I have for now but hopefully I'll get on the ball and get back to you all soon with more pictures of Kayla (maybe). She is supposedly real close to getting her braces off and she tells me then she won't be so camera shy but I'm not completely sure I believe that. Bye for now!
