Quin is here now...

Quin is the black dog - he is a Golden Standard Poodle mix. Asha and him have become buddies and here are some shots of the two of them. Tug is quite jealous seeing Asha play with another dog. He is trying desperately to fit in. We got some real horseplay going on around here (literally!). The snow cakes and matts in Quin's hair... sigh... oh how I wish the snow would melt for more reasons than that.         Posted by Picasa

Peace looks longingly at the window in hopes that his family will show up at any moment to get him (he's going home today and he knows it because I brought his bed upstairs and his toy) Posted by Picasa

Brandon has some fun with a couple of "gummy eyeballs" (ya know... like gummy bears)

Brandon has some company while watching TV although Tug looks in disbelief that there is a kid sitting in his bed! Posted by Picasa

Kayla is getting some kisses from our two newest guests! Asha (Great Dane Mix) and Tug (Pug)! Posted by Picasa

Here is a closer look!

The cake consisted of chocolate cake and white cake crumbled and mixed with pudding and blueberries were added for extra flavor. Then large chunky cheetohs were half dipped in chocolate for an extra special effect. And oh boy! what an effect it had! LOL! (Right Z?! thanks for the dessert fun!) Posted by Picasa

Our Thanksgiving Dessert!!

Zia brought a kitty litter cake... I thought it was actually good but it took some doing to get past the whole part of it being served in a kitty litter pan and with a scooper... blegh! As you can see below on most everyone's faces, they are all very unsure of the whole idea. Like I said though, I thought it was pretty tasty and so did Zia and Dave but neither one of my kids liked it nor did the rest of the family. Their was a lot of gagging and icky faces going on. It was by far one of the most entertaining dessert times we've ever had at one of our family dinners! Posted by Picasa

Some of our past Halloween's

And just for some fun and mostly because my kids don't quite do Halloween like they used too. Here are some of their very first times trick or treating.  Kayla's first year as a pumpkin - she loved it... can't you tell?   This year Kayla was a clown and was extremely unhappy about it while Brandon was a little red devil and could have cared less.   This particular year was my favorite for Halloween costumes. Grandma Gail made both of these costumes and it was a blast taking them around for candy. Everybody loved their costumes.   And this year was the last for the M & M costumes... Heather was getting up there so Grandma Gail made her the "Bag" costume while the rest of the kids were different color M & M's. Pretty cool, huh? Posted by Picasa

Here are a few pictures of the two of them together
