Peace looks longingly at the window in hopes that his family will show up at any moment to get him (he's going home today and he knows it because I brought his bed upstairs and his toy)
Brandon has some company while watching TV although Tug looks in disbelief that there is a kid sitting in his bed!
The cake consisted of chocolate cake and white cake crumbled and mixed with pudding and blueberries were added for extra flavor. Then large chunky cheetohs were half dipped in chocolate for an extra special effect. And oh boy! what an effect it had! LOL! (Right Z?! thanks for the dessert fun!)
Zia brought a kitty litter cake... I thought it was actually good but it took some doing to get past the whole part of it being served in a kitty litter pan and with a scooper... blegh! As you can see below on most everyone's faces, they are all very unsure of the whole idea. Like I said though, I thought it was pretty tasty and so did Zia and Dave but neither one of my kids liked it nor did the rest of the family. Their was a lot of gagging and icky faces going on. It was by far one of the most entertaining dessert times we've ever had at one of our family dinners!
Kayla's first year as a pumpkin - she loved it... can't you tell?
This year Kayla was a clown and was extremely unhappy about it while Brandon was a little red devil and could have cared less.
This particular year was my favorite for Halloween costumes. Grandma Gail made both of these costumes and it was a blast taking them around for candy. Everybody loved their costumes.
And this year was the last for the M & M costumes... Heather was getting up there so Grandma Gail made her the "Bag" costume while the rest of the kids were different color M & M's. Pretty cool, huh?
